GEO4NET PLATFORM: ACCESS MANAGEMENT

 17/03/2025

The Geo4net platform is a comprehensive fleet management solution that enables businesses to track their vehicles in real time. It also integrates advanced tools to optimize resource management, including fuel management, maintenance, expenses, driver monitoring, and much more.

With a flexible user management system, each member of the organization has personalized access based on their role and responsibilities. This article outlines the steps to access the platform, create and manage users, and assign vehicle permissions.

Accessing the Geo4net Platform

Login and Authentication

Access to the Geo4net platform is available through the official URL: app.geo4net.com. Each user must authenticate using a unique phone number or email address.
For security, authentication is reinforced with a six-digit OTP (One-Time Password) sent via SMS or email. Once the code is entered, users can seamlessly access their personal dashboard and manage their vehicles.

Password Reset

If a user needs to change their password, they must enter their phone number and click on “Forgot password?”. A verification code will then be sent, allowing them to securely reset their password.

User Management

Creating and Managing User Profiles

When adding a new user, the following details must be provided:

  • User ID
  • Full name and description
  • Phone number for authentication
  • Preferred platform language
  • Email address for notifications
  • User role (administrator, fleet manager, driver, etc.)
  • Custom access permissions

This precise user management system ensures complete control over access rights and data security.

Vehicle Access Management :

Geo4net provides an advanced vehicle access management system. When a new user is added, they can be assigned to specific vehicles.

There are two types of access assignments:

  • Individual Access: The user can only view and manage the vehicles assigned to them.
  • Group Access: If assigned to a vehicle group, the user can interact with all vehicles within that group.

This feature is essential for large fleet operations, ensuring efficient organization and enhanced security.
